After a dozen years at the network that saw her become a star and a household name Megyn Kelly is leaving FOX News and joining NBC News. Tomi Lahren is a 24 year old political commentator who is a fan favorite to replace Megyn Kelly on FOX News.

Described by the New York Times as a rising media star, Tomi Lahren has a lot going for her as far as being a replacement for Megyn Kelly on FOX News. Tomi currently hosts her own political show on TheBlaze network which was founded by Glenn Beck.
If FOX News does not hold the association with Glenn Beck against her, Tomi Lahren seems like a natural fit to replace Megyn Kelly. She is much younger than Mergyn is (24 years old vs 46 years old for Megyn Kelly) and Tomi is far prettier than Megyn Kelly.

As far as actual journalism goes it's not like Megyn Kelly was ever anything special on FOX News. She never really broke any news stories and would just report what everyone else was reporting. When she was in the news herself it was usually for stupid stuff like what color Santa Claus is.
Would Tomi Lahren be any better as a host on FOX News? Nobody really knows but Megyn Kelly did not create a very high bar for Tomi Lahren or anyone else to surpass at FOX News so why not give her a shot?
